I believe humans are designed so uniquely and that's something we should celebrate. The unique experiences that people have are so important because having diverse perspectives helps you reach novel conclusions.
One of my favorite side effects with AI coming in is that it's forcing everyone to become a polymath. You can't just be good at 1 thing anymore, you have to be creative and bridge multiple gaps together. Even more so, I love how people are starting to recognize the shortcomings of AI — how humans are uniquely positioned to make decisions, think about what's important, and be the main source of love to other people.
Now it's kind of weird to throw love into tech and AI, but that's why I do it. Love is sacrifice, business should be about sacrifice and giving people what they need. I'm a former founder who's raised and built systems that are still running today. I invest in people and don't expect returns. I think the most fruitful thing we can contribute is ourselves. To be present and to be raw. To build without regret but ship with great empathy.
I treat every day like my last. And on my last day, I won't think about how much money I made or what companies I built. No, I'll think about the people I've impacted and the people who have poured into me.
